Best Way to Take SnapChat Screenshot without knowing

    Take SnapChat Screenshot without knowing

Generating a significant number of daily active users, Snapchat has become a social media titan in the realm of photo and video-sharing platforms.

One unique feature of Snapchat is the erasure of shared content after it has been viewed, and a notification system that informs users when a screenshot of their snap has been taken.

However, several methods exist for capturing screenshots without alerting the snap’s sender, thereby maintaining their privacy. Here are some of the best ways to take a screenshot on Snapchat without the other person knowing.

    1. Clear Cache

After you have opened the Snapchat app and loaded the snap (but not opened it), you can turn on Airplane Mode on your phone.

Open the snap, take a screenshot, and then clear the cache of the Snapchat app before turning off Airplane Mode.

To do this on an Android device, go to Settings, tap on Apps, find Snapchat, and choose Clear Cache.

On an iOS device, go to Settings, find General and then iPhone Storage, locate Snapchat, and select Clear Cache.

    2. Use Another Device

You can also use another device such as a camera or a different smartphone to take a photo of the screen of your device when the snap is displayed.

    3. Utilize Screen Record

Both iOS and Android devices come pre-installed with a screen recording feature. You can activate this feature before opening the snap, after which you can play back the recorded video and take a screenshot during playback.

    4. SnapSaver/SnapSave Apps

Many third-party apps are available to download and install on Android devices that allow users to take screenshots of snaps without notifying the sender.

Note that this option is not recommended due to confidentiality reasons and breaches of Snapchat’s policies; use it at your own discretion.

    5. Use Google Assistant

Another alternative for Android users is to use Google Assistant. Activate it by saying ‘Okay Google’ or holding down the home button, then ask it to take a screenshot. The downside is that it doesn’t allow direct saving to the gallery, but you can always send it via email and save it from there.

While these hacks do allow you to screenshot snaps without detection, it’s crucial to respect the privacy of Snapchat users.

These methods should be used responsibly and not to infringe on one’s privacy. Always remember to ask for permission before saving or sharing someone else’s content.

It bears emphasizing that Snapchat’s original intention behind the screenshot notification feature is to respect and protect user privacy, and it is only right that this intention is honored by all users.
